Finding the Right Bridesmaid Dress Accessories
You may find it challenging to choose the perfect bridesmaid dress to fit all your bridesmaids. After this has been complete however, then comes the fun time of choosing accessories. Some brides prefer to choose the same accessories for each bridesmaid, while others allow the girl to choose their own. Accessories can either bring the look of unique dresses together or allow the bridesmaids to express their own individual personality. Be careful not to overdo the amount of accessories you use, otherwise your attire may look tacky and cluttered.
Gloves A pair of long satin gloves seem like the perfect addition to attire worn for an evening wedding. Alternatively, a pair of short lace gloves would work well for a daytime wedding. Either way, gloves can add elegance and charm to your wedding attire.
Purses A purse is not necessarily needed for a wedding, but it may be nice to have one to carry your makeup and personal items in. Clutch purse are most popular but are easy to lose. Choose one with a hidden wristlet that wraps around the wrist so there is no worry of it getting lost.
Earrings What outfit is complete without the perfect pair of earrings? Earring should be chose according to the style of the dress you wear. Stud earrings are best worn with a wide strapped or sleeved dress, while large earrings look best with strapless dresses. If your dress has thin straps a pair of hoop earrings may be best.
Hair Choose your hair accessories wisely. You should not wear big or flashy hair accessories if you will be wearing a lot of other jewelry. A simple bun cover would look nice for an up do. Also, small flowers would make an elegant decoration. If wearing your hair down, consider using a few jewel covered pins or clips.
Necklaces or Chokers You may or may not be able to wear a necklace or choker, depending on the style of dress you wear. Either can be worn with a strapless dress, but not necessarily with a dress that has straps. The neckline of halters and a necklace don?t usually align well. They tend to hide behind the line of the dress.
Nails Having your nails done will put the finishing touch on your attire. It would be a nice idea to give your bridesmaids a manicure day at your home or send them to a salon. Rhinestones and other gems are a welcome embellishment as long as they match your attire. Nail polish color should also coordinate with the rest of the outfit.
