If she is going to keep her name, then you can use all four initials in the monogram.
Finally, some people consider it inappropriate to use the combined monogram before you are actually married. If you are sensitive to this, then make sure that you only begin to use the shared monogram from the reception onward.
Once you’ve figured out all the little details about how you’re going to display your monogram, it’s time to decide where exactly you are going to feature it. While you can be conservative and only post it on a couple of different places, you can also go all out if you want. After all, it’s your special day! While you might initially feel like you’re being a little tacky stamping your shared initials on everything that can hold one, it’s really nothing to be embarrassed about. Not only is it expected, but it’s encouraged. After all, it’s your special day, and everything is set up to be about the two of you. Your monogram is like your special personal brand for the day. And if McDonalds can throw those arches all over the world just to sell a few hamburgers, than you can display your little brand on the one day devoted entirely to the two of you.
